2. Animal Health International Scholarship

Deadline: February 1st

Through the National FFA Organization, the Animal Health International Scholarship is granted annually for $1,000 to full-time undergraduate students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in animal science with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Within the Banfield Charitable Trust, the Campbell Family Scholarships are offered to award up to $8,500 for full-time undergraduate students who are majoring in pre-veterinary sciences, animal sciences, veterinary technology, or any other program of study leading to a pet-related career. In the amount of $1,000 for two-year college students and $2,000 for four-year university students, the Oregon Dairy Women Scholarship is granted each year to those majoring in food science, animal science, veterinary medicine, nutrition, dietetics, or another discipline related to the diary industry. Rose Acre Farms Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture, animal/food or poultry science, nutrition, agricultural business/food service or livestock management, breeding, genetics, pathology, food packaging or food technology with preference given to applicants majoring in food science or animal/poultry science. Resident of Clinton or Iroquois counties in Illinois; Adair, Guthrie or Madison counties in Iowa; Johnson or Lincoln counties in Missouri; Jackson, Jennings, Newton, Pulaski, White or Clinton counties in Indiana; Morgan or Putnam county in Georgia; and Hyde county in North Carolina. No more than one scholarship per county to be awarded. Scholarships are available for both FFA and non-FFA members.AWARD: 12 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
